This website is run by The Light Of God, a humanitarian organisation being established in London, United Kingdom. The Light Of God is currently being established and is not yet registered with the Charity Commission.

#Our content

We work hard to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, and our Journal guides link to the sources we rely on. The guides are general information, not professional, legal, financial or medical advice. Services, phone numbers and rules can change, so please check with the organisation concerned before relying on them. In an emergency, always call 999.

Some images on this website are illustrative and do not show our own completed work. We label them where it matters.

#Donations

We are not yet taking payments through this website. Our donate page sends us a donation enquiry, and any gift is then arranged with you directly by email. When online donations open, they will be processed by a regulated payment provider, and we will publish our donation and refund terms here before we accept any money. We cannot claim Gift Aid until we are a registered charity recognised by HMRC.

Funds raised for a named campaign will be used for that campaign. If a campaign raises more than it needs, or cannot go ahead, we will explain on our transparency page how the money will be used, in line with what we told donors.

#Using this website

• Do not use the website in any way that is unlawful, harmful or fraudulent.
• Do not try to gain unauthorised access to the website or the systems behind it.
• Do not submit false information through our forms or pretend to be someone else.
• Do not use our name or content to raise money without our written agreement.

#Our name and content

The The Light Of God name, words, design and images on this website belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to share links to our pages and to quote short passages with a link back. Please ask us before reproducing anything else.

#Fundraising on our behalf

We love it when people fundraise for us. Please tell us first, be honest about who we are and our current status, follow the Fundraising Regulator's Code of Fundraising Practice, and make sure all money raised reaches us.

We link to other websites for information and sources. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

#Our responsibility to you

We provide this website free of charge and cannot guarantee it will always be available or free from errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
