Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. This statement explains what we have done and where we know we can do better.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at level AA.
How we have built it
- Text colours meet or exceed AA contrast against their backgrounds.
- Pages use real headings, landmarks and lists, with a skip link to the main content.
- Every interactive element can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- If you turn on reduced motion in your device settings, animations, scroll effects and 3D scenes are switched off or made still.
- Forms have visible labels, clear instructions and error messages that are announced to screen readers.
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content.
Known limitations
- Some pages include decorative 3D scenes and animation. They carry no information that is not also in the text, and they stop when reduced motion is on, but they can be demanding on older devices.
- Some scroll-driven sections reveal their text in stages as you scroll. All of the text is present in the page for screen readers.
